Starmer says Badenoch is 'obsessing' over transport secretary firing

Keir Starmer has responded to questions from the Conservative party leader, Kemi Badenoch, about the former transport secretary Louise Haigh during a lively PMQs. Haigh resigned as transport secretary in late November, 12 hours after it emerged she had been convicted of fraud over a missing work phone.
During PMQs, Badenoch said Starmer had claimed Haigh was only asked to resign when further information came to light, and pressed the prime minister on what that further information was. Starmer said he had no intention of disclosing private information
