Justin Timberlake pleaded guilty to driving while impaired, a reduced traffic offence, resolving his drink-driving criminal case. The star was arrested in early June and charged with driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons in New York. Sag Harbor village police said Timberlake ran a stop sign and drifted out of his lane. In a statement after the legal proceedings, Timberlake said: 'I did not live up to the standards that I try to hold for myself.'
