Israeli forces stormed Al Jazeera’s bureau in Ramallah, in the Occupied West Bank, early on Sunday, shutting down its operations. The Israeli military’s closure order accused the network of "incitement to and support of terrorism," according to Al Jazeera’s bureau chief Walid Al-Omari. The closure order has been handed to the network’s legal team for review. The initial statement ordered the office’s closure for 45 days, a decision made by an Israeli general, requiring staff to vacate immediately with their personal belongings and Cameras. Further details are to be provided at Israeli military headquarters.
