An art installation in Doha features over 15,000 teddy bears, each representing a Palestinian child killed in Gaza. The exhibit aims to convey the immense scale of loss, as individual stories are often overshadowed by statistics. The teddy bears are placed on grey concrete blocks, symbolising Gaza’s rubble, while red elements represent blood. The installation seeks to remind visitors that these children had names, identities, and a homeland. By personalising each bear, the exhibit aims to humanise the victims and encourage reflection on the human cost of the conflict.
