Explosions seen as Israel carries out strikes on Lebanon

Explosions were seen in southern Lebanon as Israeli warplanes carried out dozens of strikes in the area. Israel’s army released footage showing what it claimed to be strikes on Hezbollah rocket launchers after saying it had struck dozens of Hezbollah targets, including rocket launchers and weapon depots. Lebanese security sources said Israel launched dozens of bombs across southern Lebanon. The strikes came after Hezbollah’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, spoke for the first time after a wave of attacks targeted the organisation with explosives hidden in pagers and walkie-talkies
