Elderly residents evacuated from care home after airstrike in Ukraine

A Russian airstrike hit an assisted-living facility in the northern Ukrainian city of Sumy. The five-storey building housed about 211 elderly people living with reduced mobility. Ukrainian authorities said at least one person had died and more than 12 people had been injured. In footage released by Ukrainian officials, rescuers helped the residents, many of whom appeared to struggle to walk, to evacuate the facility.
