Displaced people from Lebanon have arrived in airports across Europe as hundreds of thousands flee Israel’s widening aerial campaign.

Many displaced people were sleeping rough on the streets of Beirut, crowding public parks and lying on pavements. Some flights from Beirut were reportedly fully booked and airlines were cancelling flights into the city. Lebanon’s caretaker prime minister, Najib Mikati, announced on Monday he would meet donor countries to seek additional funding for Lebanon’s growing displacement crisis
