Colombia’s government has suspended peace talks with the rebel group ELN.
It follows an attack by the group that killed two soldiers and left more than two dozen troops injured in the Arauca region on the border with Venezuela.
The attack was the worst in months by the last standing rebel organization in the country and it comes at a critical moment in the fraught peace negotiations between the group and the South American government.
Al Jazeera’s Alessandro Rampietti reports from Colombia's capital Bogota.
