Captives’ killings, ongoing mass protests will still not impact outcome of Gaza war: Analysis

After months of denials, the Israeli army has confirmed that three captives who died in Gaza last year were actually killed by Israeli shelling.
The bodies of Elia Toledano, Nik Bezier and Ron Sherman were recovered after the incident late last year.
Israel had previously denied responsibility for their deaths.
Military officials say at the time of the attack, there was no intelligence indicating captives were held at the location where they were killed.

Al Jazeera's Hamdah Salhut has the latest from the Jordanian capital Amman – because the Israeli government has banned Al Jazeera from reporting inside Israel.

Gideon Levy is a columnist for Israeli newspaper, Haaretz. He says the revelation that Israel likely killed another three captives held in Gaza will hardly make a difference in ending the war in Gaza
